The Seven Churches of Revelation and Istanbul Tour

Tour Plan

• Day 1 — Izmir
  

  When you arrive in Izmir, your professional tour guide will take you to your 5 star hotel. There will be an afternoon tour of Izmir (old Smyrna) which includes a visit to the Church of St. Polycarp in Konak. It is among the structures worth seeing because of its different architectural structure and one of the oldest religious buildings. Overnight in Izmir.
• Day 2 — Pamukkale
  

  After spending night at the hotel, there will be a depart for Sardes to visit the Church of Sardes. We will continue to Alasehir, home to the ancient Philadelphia Church. During the excavations in Philadelphia, a theater and a temple dating back to the Roman Period were unearthed. After visiting this church in Manisa, we will drive to Pamukkale which is famous for its lime cascade Roman spa. We will finish the day in the ancient city of Hierapolis where you see the martyrium of St. Philip the Apostle. You will stay overnight in Pamukkale.
• Day 3 — Ephesus
  

  This morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Churches of Laodicea and Colossae en route to Ephesus. Explore the Forum, the Odeon, the Library of Celsus, and the Temple of Diana in this unearthed city where Apostle Paul preached for three years. Visits to the Thermal Baths and the Great Theatre are also included in the tour. We make a stop in Aphrodisias before arriving in Kusadasi, a lovely harbor city. Overnight at a 5 star hotel in Kusadasi.
• Day 4 — Asclepion
  

  This morning after breakfast, we'll make a brief visit to Thyatira, the smallest of the seven churches, before going on to Pergamum. Before heading to the coastal city of Ayvalik, visit the Asclepion (ancient healing center), walk around the Acropolis, and visit the Archaeological Museum. Ayvalik is where you'll spend the night.
• Day 5 — Alexandria Troas
  

  After breakfast in the hotel, we will travel along the coast to Alexandria Troas, the site of Apostle Paul's vision for introducing the gospel to Europe. And then, we will visit Troy, the famed birthplace of the Trojan horse in Greek mythology. While driving to Istanbul, we will stop in Bursa to visit the Ecumenical Councils. 5 star hotel in Istanbul is where you will spend your night.
• Day 6 — Hagia Sophia
  

  Hagia Sophia, Sultan Ahmet and a short visit to the Topkapi Palace are all included on a morning city walk. The afternoon is yours to stroll through the Grand Bazaar or Spice Market at your leisure. Istanbul is where you will spend the night.
• Day 7 — Airport
  You will be taken via VIP car to the airport in Istanbul to fly to your home.
