Seven Churches Tour

Tour Plan

• Day 1 — Istanbul
  

  When you arrive in Istanbul, our tour guide will meet you and transfer you from the airport to the hotel. After arriving hotel, take some time to unwind. Following that, you will obtain a community orientation, with the rest of the day free to explore the city at your leisure. In Istanbul, we will spend the night.
• Day 2 — Istanbul
  

  After breakfast at the hotel, our driver will take you to Sultan Ahmet and Hagia Sophia. There will be lunch break at an authentic Turkish restaurant before visiting the Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. Overnight in Istanbul.
• Day 3 — Istanbul
  

  After breakfast, there is a half-day boat tour in the Bosphorus. We will visit the Spice Market followed by a cruise by ferry through the Bosphorus. And then, we will stop in Ortakoy for a coffee break. You can spend your free time in the afternoon. Overnight in Istanbul.
• Day4 — Canakkale
  

  Early in the morning after the breakfast, there will be departure to Canakkale. We will cross the Dardanelles and visit Troy and Assos. Overnight en route in Ayvacik.
• Day 5 — Akhisar
  

  After the breakfast, there will be departure in the morning to Pergamon. We will visit the Acropolis and Asclepion. And then, drive to Akhisar to visit the Church of ancient Thyatira. After discovering the ruins there, we will go back to Izmir where we will spend the night.
• Day 6 — Church of St
  

  We will visit the Church of St. Policarp, which reflects the congregation of the seven churches of the Apocalypse and is the oldest church in ancient Smyrna. Then, we will move to Sardis, the Lydians' ancient capital, to see the Church of Sardis. The tour will continue with Alasehir to see the ancient Philadelphia Church before driving to Pamukkale for a relaxing bath in your hotel's hot spring tub. Pamukkale is where you'll spend the night.
• Day 7 — Hierapolis
  

  We will visit Hierapolis, the ancient city where St. Philip the Apostle was martyred. Your coach will drive from Pamukkale to Eskihisar, which was once the capital of ancient Laodicea and visit the ruins and the Church of Laodicea. En route to Kusadasi, visit Aphrodisias, the city of the Goddess of Love. In Kusadasi, spend the night.
• Day 8 — Ephesus
  

  Set off for Ephesus, where you'll see the magnificent ruins, the House of Virgin Mary, and the Basilica of St. John, before stopping in Sirince, a formerly Greek spectacular village. Continue to Ayvalik, where you can lounge on the beach next to the hotel. Ayvalik is where you'll spend the night.
• Day 9 — Istanbul
  

  It is time to departure for Istanbul. After arrival, overnight in Istanbul.
• Day 10
  It is time for transferring from the hotel to the airport. And it is the end of our tour.
